📄 ALDRICH SPORTS LEAGUE TERMS, WAIVER & MEDIA CONSENT AGREEMENT

By creating an account or submitting a team on this site, I acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions.

🧾 GENERAL AGREEMENT

  • I understand that signing up for Aldrich Sports League (ASL) is open to players, team captains, fans, supporters, volunteers, and community members.

  • I affirm that the full name I am entering is my legal name, and I am authorized to agree to these terms on my own behalf (or as the parent/guardian of a participant under 18).

  • I agree that all information I provide is accurate and truthful.

⚖️ LIABILITY RELEASE

  • I understand and agree that Aldrich Sports League (ASL), the Mattituck Parks Department, and the Mattituck-Cutchogue School District are not liable for any injuries, accidents, losses, or damages that occur during or as a result of my participation, attendance, or involvement in league events.

📸 MEDIA CONSENT

  • I grant permission for ASL to capture photos, videos, or other media of me at any ASL events.

  • I agree that this media may be used by ASL and its organizers (Francis Buonaiuto and Joe Aiello) for marketing, promotional, and social media purposes, without compensation.

  • I waive any rights to inspect or approve the final use of these materials.

⚽ PLAYER & TEAM POLICIES

✅ Eligibility & Team Management

  • To be eligible for the Playoff Tournament Finals, I must have played with my registered team for at least three (3) Sundays.

  • Players are not allowed to switch teams mid-day. “Day trades” may only occur before games begin on any Sunday and must be approved by Joe or Francis.

  • Captains may appoint one co-captain, who has full team management privileges except the ability to remove or replace the captain.

  • Each team may carry a maximum of 12 players on its roster.

  • Inviting players: Team captains can send a roster invite link to teammates for direct signup and team joining. The captain (and co-captain) may approve or remove team members as needed.

🏀 CONDUCT & DISCIPLINE

  • ASL is a competitive but fun environment. I agree to uphold the spirit of fair play, teamwork, and community.

  • Physical altercations, threats, or abusive behavior will not be tolerated.

    • First offense: verbal warning (if appropriate).

    • Second offense or serious misconduct: ejection from the league at the discretion of ASL staff.

  • Referee decisions are final. I agree to respect the authority of ASL referees and event staff.

  • Joe Aiello and Francis Buonaiuto reserve the right to remove any player, team, or spectator from the league at any time if they believe the conduct compromises the safety or integrity of ASL events.

🎒 EQUIPMENT POLICY

  • Each team is responsible for bringing their own game ball. ASL may provide one if needed.

  • Lost ASL-issued balls will incur a $15 replacement fee.

🔐 WAIVER VERIFICATION

  • For verification, players may be photographed holding their signed waiver or form submission to associate identity with participation.

  • For online registration, submitting the form or checking the terms agreement box constitutes digital signature and binding consent.
